Alea Beito opts for the former, at least with respect to the children with Sigri Beito and Knut O. being the son of Ola Knutsen Grovi and Guri Olsdatter Helle. However, Alea also includes the p. 224 information in her Beito Family Tree with Knud marrying Marit Knudsdatter Beito. The two versions of Knut are incompatible, The bygdebok on p. 224 appears to be confused too.
