In the 1930 census, she lived with her parents in Grand Forks. Her original 1937 application had been for Evelyn Jacobson Garnas. On 26 Nov 1945, she married Malcolm D MacQueen in Wyandotte, Wayne County, Michigan. In the 1950 Wyandotte city directory, she was Evelyn Garnas again. She was a laboratory worker for Wyandotte Chemical Corp. In 1951, she was in Glendale, California, as Mrs. Evelyn Garnas. In February of 1979 she changed her name to Evelyn Myrtle Thompson. Her mother had been John Jacobson, her mother had been Carolyn Bye.
