Notes |
- In the 1910 census, she (indexed as Dalayer) and her children live in Minot, North Dakota. Her marital status is unclear. The girls are unmarried, Blanche is a school teacher, Ruth works for a millinery. Also living with the family is Elwin Dalager, Olive’s nephew, a bookkeeper for the railroad.
In the 1915 Iowa census, she is back in St. Ansgar and is divorced.
At the time of the 1920 census, Olive, as Olina Dalager, is still in St. Ansgar and is now a widow. The girls are still unmarried: Blanche is a school teacher, Ruth works in a millinery shop. Roy is not listed with his mother and sisters. The household includes two lodgers, a pair of spinster school teachers.
