  Notes	In the 1900 census, he and his wife and children lived on a farm in Holden Twp, Goodhue County. Peder and Carrie had come to the U.S. in 1881. Also living with the family on their farm was Ole Benson, brother (presumably of Peder), age 46, and Benny Olsen, father (presumably of Peder), age 88. In the ELCA baptism record for his twins, Barbo and Anetta, he is called Peder Baardsen Eggum and his wife is called Kari Olsdatter Tufte. An Ancestry family tree has him as Peder Baardson Eggum, b. 15 Apr 1850 on Eggestol farm in Lærdal, Sogn og Fjordane. That tree, which consulted Arkivet, has couple, married in 1877, leaving Norway 4 May 1880. They already had one child.
