In the 1950 census, the Kincaids lived in La Mesa in San Diego County, California. Thomas was the proprietor of a service station, Vivian was a saleslady for a cosmetics company. Their two children were LaVonne, 11, and Wayne, 8. Vivian Kincaid and her daughter LaVawn Kincaid were baptized,as adult baptisms, in the La Mesa Presbyterian Church on 13 Apr 1952.
