Grace was passionate about two things; her children and her country. Grace joined the National Guard in 1982 and initially served until 1988, when she focused on raising her family and working. In 2007 Grace moved to Boise to work full time for the National Guard at Gowen Field as a Logistics Administrative Clerk. Grace was called upon for a second tour in Iraq in 2010-2011. Grace returned to Gowen Field and served until retiring from the Idaho National Guard, as a Sergeant, on October 31st, 2017.
Grace was a loving, giving person. She never put anyone down. She always had something in her pocket to give away. If you needed anything, she found a way to get it for you. She always had a smile to give away.
