He had remarried and his wife was now 34 year-old Susan. Living with the family was Ole Wedwick, Engelbert’s son from his earlier marriage, and Andrew Nelson, age 14, “brother-in-law.” In the 1900 census, he was a widower again and living in Kickapoo Twp with his son Ole.
