- Albert Kolmayer was an unmarried 42 year-old immigrant from Czeckoslovakia and living in Portland, Oregon, at the time of the 1930 census. Albert died in Multnomah County on 22 Mar 1965.
In the 1940 census, brutally mis-indexed as Albert Halmoyer, he and his family lived in Skyline Pct, Multnomah County, Oregon. He had lived elsewhere in Multnomah County in 1935 although the rest of the 1940 household had lived in that same house in 1935. The 1940 household, besides Albert, was Mildred (Myldred) E, 33, Irene L, 18, Walter Sworder, 16, boarder, and Dora June “Halmayer”, 14, daughter. Mildred’s father Joger lived next door. Albert was employed as an oil refiner.
According to his World War II draft registration card, Albert was born 4 June 1887 in Czechoslovakia. He and Mildred lived at Route 2, Box 197, Portland, Oregon. He worked for Durkee Famous Foods of Portland.
