  Notes	Elvina Lila Bailey, age 79, a resident at Vernon Manor, Viroqua, died Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Vernon Manor. She was born on March 31, 1932 in Crawford Co. to Lewis and Minnie (Sandy) Erickson. After high school she married Robert Bailey on March 13, 1954. The couple later divorced. Elvina worked at the A&W for a couple years and then worked at Bethel Home & Services for 28 years until her retirement. Elvina enjoyed watching the birds, gardening, visiting with her sister and spending time with her family and especially the grandchildren. Elvina is survived by her children: Margo Bailey, La Crosse, Pam Vikemyr, Viroqua, Jerry Bailey, Hudson; grandchildren: Lisa (Ben) Johnson, Joe (Steph) Vikemyr, Jeremy Bailey, Danielle, Sacsha and Morgan Bailey; great grandchildren: Alyson and Evan Johnson, Trenton Bailey; sister: Betty (Paul Nundahl) Ewers; sister-in-law: Ruth Erickson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law: Michael “Mike” Vikemyr; sisters: Myrtle (Harold) Hackett, Geneva (Selmer) Nundahl, Elnora Erickson, Darlene Nundahl; brother: Bernard Erickson and three nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Reetz-Thorson Funeral Home, Viroqua. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Kathy Ingbritsen with burial to follow in West Prairie Hauge Cemetery, rural Viroqua.
