  Notes	Ray says, “Olof emigrated from Liverpool on May 7, 1903 to Boston on the steamship "Mayflower". arriving on May 16, 1903. He left his wife Ida and two sons in Sweden until he could get established.” In the 1906 Canadian census, he and his family lived in Subdistrict 37 of Assininoia East District, Saskatchewan. Their postal address was Dubuc. Olaf had first come to Canada in 1903, his wife and two oldest sons had apparently followed the next year, 1904. Olaf’s older brother Johan lives with them. In the 1916 Canadian census, indexed as Rosene, Olaf and Ida and family live in the Saltcoats 04 District of Saskatchewan. There was a different Olaf Rosen, born in Sweden at about the same time, who died in Stevens County, Washington, in 1955. Janet calls him Olaf Johansson Rosen.
