At that time, she was already a grade school teacher so she may have attended a “normal school” after high school. She graduated from St. Olaf in its class of 1924. During her college years, she worked as a student assistant or teaching assistant to Ole Rolvaag. The Sobergs lived next door to the Campions at the time of the 1930 census. Also living with the Sobergs at the time of the 1930 census was a 28 year-old laborer from Norway named Agnar Myrhaug.
