Gender Male Notes - As Jan found, Edward was born Odd Olsen on Børve farm in Vikør parish, now called Kvam, in Hordaland county, Hardaland District. He emigrated from Bergen on 22 Mar 1904, destination Denover, Minnesota. On the 1922 Canadian immigration record, he claimed to have originally come to the U.S. at New York in March of 1905.
In a 1911 property map of Bunker Hill school district (between Annaheim and Spalding) that Jan found, the Bervens owned the northwest quarter of Section 6.
