  Notes	Charles Monroe Curtis, Sr., of Annandale, MN was 88 years of age when he peacefully passed away. He is preceded in death by his parents, Austin John and Stella (Ellertson) Curtis; brother, Elroy; sister, Carole; as well as his loving wife of 52 years, Bonnie Mae in October 2007; and daughter Kimberly Andrews in August 2003. Charles joined the U.S. Navy August 1946; serving on the 1504 Navel Construction Battalion Saipan M.I. and the 104th Naval Construction Battalion in Coronado CA. He was honorably discharged with a World War II Victory Medal and a Good Conduct Medal in January of 1949. He married Bonnie Schmitz on July 2, 1955, they lived in Annandale with their four children. Charlie worked for AT&T Network Systems for over 32 years and the Communications Workers of America Union Local 7290. He had a love of cars, motorcycles & snowmobiles, watching the Vikings & Twins, spending time with his family and engaging in a good conversation.
