  Notes	He was born Endre Mattias Halseide. According to Espen, Endre came to Minneapolis before 1900 and worked for a railroad. In the 1940 census, Andrew lived in a house he owned at 4228 30th Avenue South in Minneapolis. He was 68 years old and still worked as a machinist helper for a railroad. Living with him were his wife Marie, 57, born in Sweden, his sons Edwin and William, ages 29 and 26, and his daughter Eleanor, 24. They had all lived in the same house in 1935. Edwin worked for a railroad as a helper in the stores department. William was an assistant purchasing agent for a utility company (most likely Northern States Power, the utility in Minneapolis). Eleanor was a waitress at a tavern. In the 1930 census, Andrew lived with Marie, Edwin, William, and Eleanor at 4228 30th. He and Marie had married when he was 36 and she was 26. In this census, Marie was born in Norway. Andrew came to the U.S. in 1890 and Marie in 1905. Edwin was a grinder for an optical eye glass company. William was an office clerk for a machine company.
