  Notes	In January of 1954, she was a contestant in the Miss Redlands contest. She graduated from Redlands High School in 1956. Sharon married John J Costelow and lived in Redlands, California. Sharon Dee Costelow, longtime resident of Yucaipa, passed away with her family by her side on Jan. 5, 2019. Sharon was born Oct. 2, 1936 in Three Forks, Mont., to Vince and Doris Sloan. Sharon was the eldest of two children. She graduated from Redlands High School in 1956. She later married John Costelow of Highland. She had a variety of occupations over her lifetime, including sales in women’s fashion at Her Highness in Redlands. Soon after adopting two children with her husband, Sharon left the workforce and became a homemaker and full-time mom. Sharon and her husband moved to Yucaipa in 1969. After their children were grown, Sharon graduated from cosmetology school and became a hair stylist in Loma Linda. Sharon loved books, history, traveling and especially loved chatting it up with her salon clients. She is survived by her son Gerrit and his wife Shannon; grandson Vince and his wife Trisha; grandchildren Christopher, Steven, Cameron and Makenna and great grandchildren Oakley and Bella. Funeral services will be held at Cortner Chapel, 221 Brookside in Redlands, on Feb. 4, at 11 a.m.
