- He is probably the Gordon Williams, “nephew”, age 14, living with William and Belle Luhn in South Milwaukee in the 1930 census.
When he registered for the draft in 1940, he and his wife were living in Muskego in Waukesha County at “Treichels Cottage #2.” He was employed by Line Material Company of South Milwaukee.
In the 1940 census, he and Virginia lived in South Milwaukee with their son Richard, age 1. He was an assembler in the electrical industry.
He served in the U.S. Army for about 8 months in 1945.
In the 1950 census, he and his family lived in Milwaukee. He was a milling machine operator for an excavating machinery factory.
