Notes |
- An account in the Minneapolis Tribune, 17 Dec 1907, p. 5, tells of a “Birta Danielson” who had an unhappy marriage to Erick Danielson. She left him and “applied to her relatives for advice, but received no reply.” She was rescued and taken in by a man named Swan Anderson. Birta became ill and revised her will to give all of her estate to Swan Anderson. (She had apparently received a sizable settlement from Erick Danielson.)
Her will pointedly referred to “Hans and Anna Erickson of Sweden and Daniel Erickson of this country” as being relatives who “didn’t take any particular interest in me.”
A “Betsy” and Erick Danielson of the right ages lived in St. Francis, Anoka County, in the 1900 census. They had no children.
