He attended school in Minneapolis and graduated from Central High School in 1955. He was a P.B.X. installer and repairer for Northwestern Bell Co. in Minneapolis for 33 years. He retired in 1988. He is survived by his wife, Peggy, of Menahga; two sons: Robert Bobby (Teresa), of Minneapolis and Johnny, of Eveleth; a stepson, Keith Mayry, of Zimmerman; two half-sisters: Margo and Debbie; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Rocky; and a half-sister, Roberta.
