  Notes	Listed in the 1930 census. Not mentioned in her half-sister Shirley’s obit. Not listed with the rest of her family in Bingham Twp in the 1940 census. After her mother’s death she apparently moved to Illinois. In the 1940 census, she was the 19 year-old Helen Bagge who was a student nurse at the Evanston Hospital in Evanston, Cook County, Illinois. She had been born in North Dakota and in 1935 she lived in St. Charles in Kane County, Illinois. As Helen Powers, she survived her sister Beverly who died in 2013. Helen B. Powers, 94, died Monday, May 18, 2015. Born on January 23, 1921, in Fargo, North Dakota, Helen later moved to St. Charles, Illinois, where she met her late husband, Robert T. Powers. They were high school and college sweethearts and married in 1943. They spent 54 happy years together until his death in 1998. As she began to lose her memory in 2003, Helen joined the Rush University Memory and Aging Project, hoping to benefit Alzheimer's research. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Campbell of Wilmette; daughter, Susan Powers of Chicago, son, Robert Powers of Sedona, AZ, four grandchildren, Elisabeth Campbell Pudik, John Scott Campbell, Jessica Powers and Kristen Ehrlich and three great-grandchildren, Samuel, Lauren and Jane Pudik. Funeral services and interment are private.
