  Notes	She survived her sister Marie, who died in September of 2006. Juanita Mae Bagge, 93, of Golden Valley, MN passed away on January 30, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Ambassador transitional care facility in New Hope, MN after suffering a stroke on January 14th. Juanita was born on January 13, 1925 in Hillsboro, ND to Walter and Rose (Harman) Gadberry. Since Juanita's early youth, she excelled in music being a soloist, accompanist and choir member for her church and other venues throughout her life. After graduation from Hillsboro High School, she married Walter Bagge on November 18, 1944 just weeks before he left for active duty in the Navy. Once Walter was discharged in 1946, Juanita worked in business administration while Walter attended college at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Upon the death of Walter's father in 1948, she and Walter moved back to his family farm in Traill County, ND where they began expanding and intensifying the farming enterprise for the next four decades. Besides being a farmer's wife and homemaker, she was an involved partner in the farming operations, actively supported her children's various activities, always been very social and an excellent bridge player playing up to three times a week until the day before her fatal stroke. During their retirement years, Juanita and Walter enjoyed the family lake home in Detroit Lakes, MN and their winter home in AZ. She and Walter spent years enjoying extended stays with their brothers and sisters throughout CA and AZ before settling in GA close to their daughter Kay. In 2013, they moved to Golden Valley, MN to be close to their son Brad, Susan, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Juanita is survived by her husband, Walter Bagge; her children: Bradley E Bagge (Susan) Golden Valley, MN & Rosalie Kay Hamilton (Bill) Kennesaw, GA; her four grandchildren: Jocelyn Bagge Schmidt (William), Jonathan Bagge (Stephanie), Courtney Bagge MacKall (James) and Matthew Bagge; and, her four great-grandchildren: Sydney Raquel Bagge, August Jacklynn Bagge, Otto Albert Schmidt and Lydia Rose Schmidt. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, her five sisters: Marie, Cytha, Ivena, Rosalie and Kathyrn and her four brothers: Joseph, Walter "Dub", Herbert and Duane. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Golden Valley, MN and Interment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
