Notes |
- Listed in the 1885 state census as five year-old Agnes, between Annie, age 5 or 6, and Peter, age 3.
Also seems to be listed in the 1895 state census as a 14 year-old male, “Ignatius”, between 16 year-old Anna and 12 year-old Peter.
Not listed in the 1900 census.
A 21 year-old Ignatius P Fautsch was born in Carlisle and lived in Waverly when he enlisted in St. Paul on May 2, 1901, for the Spanish-American war. He was described as having blue eyes, dark hair and a fair complexion. He was 5 feet, 6-3/4 inches tall. His occupation was “operator.” He was assigned to the 13th Cavalry. He deserted on August 10, 1901.
He may be the I. Peter Fautch, 24, a cashier, living in Benson, Swift County, in the 1905 state census.
Ignatius Peter Fautch died in Wilkin County in 1910. He died of pericarditis. His death certificate shows that his parents were Rufus and Pauline. He was a relief agent for the railroad.
He is considered one of Paulina’s living children in the 1900 census but not in the 1910 census.
