Linda Ann Becht Will died Monday, March 9 at her home in Hastings.
Linda was born in Fergus Falls, Minn., to Marvin E. and Ruth B. (Muller) Lyngstad. She lived on a ranch near Briggsdale with her soul mate, Fred Will, for 34 years. Due to health problems, she moved to Hastings.
Survivors: Her soul mate, Fred Will of Briggsdale; her siblings and their spouses, Myrtle “Mae” and Charles Haney, Betty and Wayne Adams, LouAnn and Gary Bunde, Melvin and Joann Lyngstad and Jerry and Monica Lyngstad, all of Nebraska; and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: Her parents; a daughter, Ruth Ann; and a baby boy Becht.
Services were March 13 in Hastings.
Interment: Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Neb.

Dr. Judith Allen officiating. Burial will be Friday, March 13, 2009; 4:00 P.M. in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2009; 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M., Thursday, March 12, 2009; 9:00 A.M.-9:00 P.M. and Friday, March 13, 2009; 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.?Memorials may be given to Mary Lanning Hospice or Heartland Pet Connection. ??Linda was born July 14, 1947 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota to Marvin E. & Ruth B. (Muller) Lyngstad. The family moved to Hastings, Nebraska when she was 5 years old. She attended Hastings Public Schools and married George Becht. They later divorced. Linda moved to Briggsdale, Colorado and lived on a ranch with her soul mate, Fred Will, for 34 years. She loved animals of all kinds, gardening and children. She was a caregiver to many people for years. Due to health problems, she moved back to Hastings into the house her parents left her after they passed away. She often returned to her home in Colorado for a week off & on. Linda loved her pets and was able to bring to Hastings, 2 of her dogs & her cat. Living in the country, many pets were dropped off over the years, where Fred & Linda gave them a home. Linda has many nieces & nephews in Nebraska & Colorado that she loved very much. Her ‘Haney’ girls, Kathy, Karen, Nancy & Christy, called her their ‘Mommie Lynie’.
