  Notes	Joyce Luce Finney, 90, of Penhook, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, January 5, 2012. She was the only child of the late Albert Pearson and Ida Pearson Luce. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Clifford Luce; and her husband, Edsel W. Finney. Joyce was a member of Snow Creek Christian Church and the Eastern Star for many years. Left to cherish her memory are her five daughters, Sharon (Max) Ward, of Tucson, Arizona, Patricia Finney, of Roanoke, Frances (Charles) Hutchinson, of Vinton., Janet (James) Middlemas, of Afton, Kathryn Finney, of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Sandoval, Charles Hutchinson, Jr., Jeffrey (Donna) Hutchinson, Lindsey Middlemas and Sarah Middlemas; two great grandchildren, Tye and Luke Sandoval; one stepgreat- granddaughter, Kelsey Banton. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012, at Finney Family Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Compton officiating. Friends may call 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday January 8, 2012, at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount. Published in Roanoke Times from January 7 to January 8, 2012
