  Notes	Born “Geo. Jos.” but seems to have been George Thomas later in life. In the 1930 census, he may be the George T Perra, age 22 and married, who was an inmate at the St. Cloud Reformatory. That George’s parents were shown to have been born in Minnesota. A George T Perra married Gertrude Van Oss in Mahnomen County on 14 August 1938. The George, age 34, who was an ex-con, and Gertrude M, age 29, lived in Waubun with their (her?) sons, Francis D, age 8, and Robert R, age 4, in Mahnomen County in the 1940 census. They lived in the same house in which Gertrude and her older son had lived in 1935. George had been institutionalized in Washington County, Minnesota, in 1935.
