At the time of his death, he was employed by St. Cloud Trucking and Sales. He lived in Sauk Rapids, his wife and daughters in Brandon, Minnesota. An article in the Star Tribune said that he was of Sauk Rapids and was fatally injured late Saturday night or early Sunday when his motorcycle went into a ditch along County Road 38 outside Urbank, Minnesota.
