Notes |
- In the 1910 census, Nathan Bryant and his wife Jennie V lived in Butler County next door to their son Jasper and family.
In the 1920 census, Nathan, 57, and Jennie, 63, live with their son, daughter, and granddaughter in the Reedyville district of Butler County. Not far away live Tine Gary, a 47 year-old widower as well as some Embrys.
In the 1930 census, Nathaniel, 69, and Jennie V, 72, still live in Magisterial District 4 in Butler County. Living with them is their blind son Charlie, 35.
A widower named Nathan A Bryant died in Louisville in 1936. The informant for his death certificate was Jasper Bryant. Both men lived at 932 West Market. Nathan’s father was Jim Bryant and his mother was Jannie Nash. Nathan’s father had been born in Tennessee. {”Jannie Nash” seems more likely to have been Nathan’s wife than his mother.}
