  Notes	In the 1910 census, she had had only the one child. In the 1920 census, Carrie is the head of household although she is still married. She and Erling live at 2101 30th Avenue S. She has no occupation. In the 1930 census, Carrie is living alone, a 62 year-old divorcee, at 3829 22-1/2 Avenue in Minneapolis in a house that she owns. In the 1940 census, she was a 72 year-old divorced woman living as a lodger at the Herrick residence at 3821 43rd Avenue S in Minneapolis. According to her death certificate, for which Emily Hoien of 4844 Elliott was the informant, she was divorced, former husband was John Saxhaug. She died as Karen Saxhaug. Her parents were Nels Christiansen and Emilie Strom. She died at home, 500 E 26th Street in Minneapolis, of a cerebral hemorrhage.
