In the 1949 Minot directory, Marcus and Harriet and Marcus’s brother Raymond W lived at 116 6th SE. Marcus was a salesman. In the 1950 census, he and Harriet and his brother Ray live in Minot. Marcus is a car salesman. Ray is a farmer. In the 1955 Minot directory, he and Harriet V live at 1612 3rd Avenue S E. He is a salesman. In the 1959 Minot directory, he is Mark Ellingboe, an oil broker. He lives at 810½ 7th SE. He resided in Yellowstone county at the time of his death. He was divorced. Sentenced to a year in the state penitentiary in May of 1968 for a parole violation. He had been given a deferred sentence a year earlier for obtaining a signature under false pretenses. He was in care at Warm Springs for at least 3½ weeks. He died of a hypertensive crisis and cardiac failure.
