  Notes	Middle name Maria in SSDI. Edna M. Kohs, 96, of Saginaw, died Monday, April 9, 2007, in Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Duluth on Jan. 23, 1911. She played on the Jackson Club Girls' Baseball Team, was a member of the ski team and a member of the 4-H Club. She worked on her father's North Star Dairy Farm in Hermantown until she married Albin Kohs in 1936, and moved to Saginaw where they made their home and farmed. Edna enjoyed 64 years of marriage to Albin and together they raised four children. Edna loved traveling, nature and anything to do with the outdoors; her biggest passion was fishing, which she did every chance she got. Edna is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Hilda; husband, Albin, in 2000; her daughter, Janet Willeck; her granddaughter, Kathy McDowra; and an infant great grandson, Craig Hanson; three sisters, Agnes Wilhelm, Vera Roff, Martha Forsell; and a brother, Albin Forsell. Edna is survived by a daughter, Gloria (Chet) Hanson of Saginaw; two sons, Kenneth (Betty) Kohs of Saginaw, and Lyle (Barb) Kohs of Bozeman, Mont.; seven grandchildren, Keith, Randy, and Jamie Willeck, Kevin and Brian Hanson, David Kohs and DeAnne Sandersfeld; 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Burial will be at Sunrise Memorial Park.
