Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Florence Bergstrom of Elko, MN; sister Doris (Raymond) Cousins of Worthington, MN; brothers Loren (Vi) Bergstrom of Chaska; Duane Bergstrom of New Market/Morristown, MN. Survived by sister Marcella ‘Marcy’ (Gordon) Tripp of Santa Clarita, CA; Sister-in-law Bernice ‘Sis’ (the late Duane) of New Market/Morristown, MN. Loved by 13 nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Ron was born November 22, 1925, in Elko and was a longtime resident. He was Elko’s 1st city clerk from 1949 - 1967. He was a driver and co-owner with his father Joseph Bergstrom of Elko Grain & Feed for many years. Ron was a long time member of The Lions Club, enjoyed bowling, his dogs and spending time with family and friends. Ron was a humble and gentle man who loved a cup of coffee and simple pleasures.
