  Notes	In the 1909 Minneapolis city directory, he is Joseph Fautsch, a clerk for W B & W G Jordan, living at home with his mother and siblings at 1616 N E 2nd Street. He is living at home in the 1910 census. His occupation is professional baseball player. He is listed in the on-line database of professional baseball players compiled by the Baseball Almanac. He is listed as Joe Fautsch, born Joseph Roamon Fautsch in Minnesota in 1887. He was 5’ 10” tall and weighed 162 lbs. His first and last game in the big leagues was 24 April 1916, when he appeared as a pinch hitter for the Chicago White Sox. He did not get a hit. Batted right, threw right. He registered for the draft on June 5, 1917, in St. Louis County. He was an engineer’s helper working for the village of Hibbing. He was single. He was described as tall and of medium build with dark blue eyes and light brown hair. In the 1920 census, he is still single and still working as an engineer’s helper for the village of Hibbing. In the 1930 census, he is probably the 35 year-old Joseph Fautch, a meter reader for “water & light” in Hibbing. In the 1940 census, he lived in Hibbing and was a meter reader for the village.
