He was a partner in a barber shop, perhaps with Theodore Wick who, with his wife Lida, lived at the same residence as Peter. In the 1930 census, he and his family rented an apartment at 119 Bancroft Avenue in Fergus Falls. In the 1935/36 Fergus Falls city directory, and in the 1937/38 Fergus Falls city directory, he was a barber with Marvel P. Lysne at 210-1/2 Lincoln Avenue West. He and Constance lived at 323 Washington Avenue East. In the 1939/40 Fergus Falls city directory, he and Constance and Elaine still lived at 323 Washington Avenue East.
