  Notes	In the 1924 Virginia city directory, which includes Biwabik, she is listed as a student living at home. The Thursday, August 21, 1947, edition of the Brainerd newspaper noted that “Mr. and Mrs. Henry Norton of Chicago, Mrs. Arthur Cartwright and Mrs. J. B. Orfold of Biwabik visited with Mrs. Anne Everson and John Everson on Thursday.” Listed in her mother’s obituary as still being alive, and living in Chicago, at the time of her mother’s death in 1966. She is Mabel Croon, of Chicago, at the time of her sister Ruth’s death. The absence of her husband’s name suggests that Mabel was a widow by that time. Listed as Mabel Norton Croon of Chicago in her sister JMyrtle’s obituary and he sisiter ennie’s obituary. In the SSDI she is Mabel T. Croon, b. 23 Dec 1907, d. Mar 1991, SSN issued in Illinois before 1951. Place of death not given in the SSDI.
