Shown in the parish record as the daughter of Erik Ingebrigtsen and “Ane Hansdatter.” Elen Rasmussen Gustad from Kvernes, b. 1863 and married, emigrated with her two children from Kristiansund on 4 May 1887 aboard an American liner, bound for Minnesota. Because Annie Gustad claimed to have had 7 children, 5 still living, at the time of the 1900 census, Ellen must have died before 1900. An Ellen Rasmussen died in St. Louis County in 1891: RASMUSSON ELLEN NA 03/19/1891 102 Called Mary, the name of his father’s second wife, in Eaner’s marriage record.
