  Notes	Shown as 5 years old in the 1865 Norwegian census. She emigrated from Kristiansund on May 4, 1887, with her brother Johan Anderson and her son and with her sister-in-law, Elen Rasmussen and her children. Bente was not married. Called Betsy in the 1900 census and shown as having been born in January of 1862. Shown as having had 4 children, 3 still living. She and Ever are shown as both having emigrated in 1886 according to the 1900 census. Minnesota death certificate # 1937-MN-000046 issued in Aitkin County. Bente died in an influenza epidemic according to her death certificate. She “had been in poor health for a long time,” according to her obit in the January 26, 1937, edition of the Brainerd Daily Dispatch.
