  Notes	Beulah (Strand) Hanchett, 89, passed away 6/17/2009 in Sparks, NV. Beulah was born in Tioga, ND on 2/24/1920 to Bertha and Gilbert Strand, the youngest of 3 girls. She graduated from Tioga High. Marrying Lloyd Hanchett in 1948, Beulah worked as a house wife and mother to their son, Vaughon. In 1967, the family moved to Plymouth, MI where Lloyd worked for GMC and Beulah worked for the City of Plymouth. In 1986, they moved to Sparks, NV near Vaughon and his children. Lloyd passed away in 1996. A proud Norwegian, accomplished at cooking and baking traditional foods, sewing, knitting, and most proud of her son and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Vaughon and his partner, Nancy Cise of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Susan Hanchett, Erik and his wife, Susie of Reno; two sisters in ND; a niece and three nephews. A service will be held later in Tioga, ND.
