  Notes	Her last name was Grome at the time that she married Iver. In the 1900 census, a Mary Grome, b. Nov 1879 in Georgia, was living in Pueblo, Colorado, the wife of John Grome and the mother of Theresa Grome, 11 months old. John, Mary, and Theresa were still in Pueblo in the 1910 census. At the time of the 1920 census, John has remarried but still lives in Pueblo. John Grome died in Pueblo on 21 Mar 1929. According to Find A Grave, he had no children with his second wife. On Robert Iver’s birth certificate, she was Mary Lee Southers, age 33. According to the 1930 census, her father was born in Kentucky and her mother in Georgia. This, from the November 24, 1964, edition of the Faribault Daily News may refer to her: “Word as been received in Dennison of the death of Mrs. Iver Ellingboe, Sr., of Pueblo, Colo. Mrs. Ellingboe was a sister-in-law of Mrs. Christine Thoreson and Mrs. John Ellingboe and had many nieces and nephews in this community.”
