  Notes	An Elizabet O. (Betsy O.) Ellingboe b. 27 Jan 1871 in Iowa, mother’s maiden name Boe, died in Los Angeles County, California, on 16 Oct 1961. She is probably the Bessie Ellingboe, dressmaker, recorded in the 1900 Sioux Falls, South Dakota, city directory. She rooms at the Odd Fellow block. She is probably the Miss Bessie Ellingbo recorded in the 1911 and 1912 Denver city directories. In the latter, she is a fitter for the Daniels & Fisher Stores and rooms at 30 20th Avenue. The 1913 Los Angeles city directory has a “Mrs.” Bessie O Ellingbo, dressmaker, residing at 823½ West 3rd. In the 1918 Los Angeles city directory, Bessie Ellingboe lives at 348 S Figueroa. In the 1930 census, A Bessie Ellingboe, age 59 and single, lived in Los Angeles as a “lodger.” Her occupation is something like modist (?). This Bessie was born in Wisconsin, her parents in Norway. In the 1940 census, she is Bessie O Ellingboe, age 69, a lodger at the Ingraham Hotel in Los Angeles. She is still living at the Hotel Ingraham, 1046 Wilshire Boulevard, at the time of the 1950 census.
