In the 1940 census, Oscar, Mary, and Rachel lived in the same house in New Market Twp in which they lived in 1935. Oscar was a farmer.

He may be the Jord O. Nelson who was president and general manager of Technoid, an automation control company in Long Beach, California, in 1959.
