According to the bygdebok, he married Dorte Olsdatter Øydgaarden (87/1) in 1849 and was a husmann on Kvie 96 between 1853 and 1855.
He is probably the Guller Lockram listed in the 1870 census living in Northfield Twp next door to Ever Lockrem. At that time, “Guller’s” wife was Mary, b. ca 1810, and they had four children living with them: Julia, 20, Ellen, 18, Ole, 16, and Christine, 14. According to the church book, his parents were Engebret Olsen Bøe eie, b. 1836, and Marit Eriksdatter, b. 1842. The couple had been married for 2 years. Neither of these people are in Jim’s databases.
In the 1865 census, Engbret is probably the “hjælper” on the Ekrene farm.
This Ole’s parents, Embrik and Marit, are described in Vang A, p. 472, where he is called Embrik Olsson Eikro.
In the 1900 census, he and Marit and their family lived in Warsaw Twp, Goodhue County. They were still there in the 1910 census.
