He is probably the Nils Gaasedelen who attended, but did not graduate from, St. Olaf Academy starting in the year 1886-1887.
Nils and family lived at 2011 Portland Avenue S. in Minneapolis in the 1920 census. Nils was a 48 year-old retired meter reader. Isabelle was a dressmaker.
His death certificate shows he was a retired real estate and investment broker. His residence was 2011 Portland Avenue S. where he had lived for 30 years. He died of bowel cancer.

He is probably the Ole born 25 Feb 1860 (bapt. 1 April) in Vang to the unmarried couple Ole Aslakson Tvedt and Guri Endresdatter Tvedt. His baptismal sponsors were Aaste Erichsdatter Tvedt, Marith Odegaardsiet, Thomas Endresson Tvedt, Ole somebody Kjøs, and Ola somebody Qvien. Ole O seems to have been born on the farm of Thomas Endresson Tvedt.
Tomas Endresen, apparently Ole O’s mother’s brother, was b. ca 1831 and living on Tveith farm as a selveier with his wife and son in the 1865 census.
Ole O and his mother Guri Endresdatter (b. ca 1835) were living on the Aasen farm in Vang in the 1865 census. They were living with the Torstein Torsteinsen family, husmand med jord.
Ole O.’s mother is probably Guri Endresdatter Rognseie born 24 Dec 1833 and bapt 2 Feb 1834 to Endre Thomassen Rognseie and Aaste Erichsdatter.
Ole O’s father, Ole Aslakesen, b. ca 1837, was a smith on the Berge farm in the 1865 census.
In the 1880 census, he was a farm laborer on a farm in Pembina, Dakota Territory.
In the 1900 census, he was a fireman living with his family in La Crosse. His birthdate is shown as February 1859. He came to the U.S. in 1870.
His obit said that he was a long-time resident of La Crosse and for many years had been a fireman at the Listman mill. He died of heart failure at his home at 1633 Winnebago Street after two months illness. He was 50 years old and left a widow and five children, George, Oscar, Minnie, Clara, and Ida. His funeral was at the Norwegian Lutheran Church on Sixth and Division. | TVEDT, Ole O (I31521)

He is probably the Olof Olofsson, b. 1754, who lived with Lars Olofsson and family in Logdea from 1816 to 1822. Living with the family over that same period was Brita Svensdotter, b. 1760, m. 1792, probably Olof’s 2nd (or later) wife.
