When he registered for the draft in 1940, he and his wife were living in Muskego in Waukesha County at “Treichels Cottage #2.” He was employed by Line Material Company of South Milwaukee.

In the 1940 census, he and Virginia lived in South Milwaukee with their son Richard, age 1. He was an assembler in the electrical industry.

He served in the U.S. Army for about 8 months in 1945.

In the 1950 census, he and his family lived in Milwaukee. He was a milling machine operator for an excavating machinery factory.

He and Jossie live next door to the Kasas in Warsaw Twp in the 1905 state census.

He is a farmer living in Northfield Twp, Rice County, in the 1910 census.

8407 He is probably the Knut Gaasedelen who attended, but did not graduate from, St. Olaf Academy starting in the year 1886-1887.

Knute and Maria and family live next door to the Neseths in Holden Twp in the 1905 state census.

In the 1920 census, Knut is a 52 year-old widower in Holden Twp. All six of his children are still living with him.

Knute was Treasurer of the Nerstrand Farmers Mercantile Elevator Co. for over 30 years between 1921 and 1953.

8410 He is probably the Mons Aagesen born 9 Jan 1791 in Inderøy to Aage Monssen and Maren Larsdatter. That Mons, 10 years old, was living on the Sundfær farm with his parents (Aage, 36, and Maren, 31) and two sisters in Saxhoug, Inderøe, in the 1801 census.
