Funeral services for Oscar Albert Bonde, former resident of Nerstrand, were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Nerstrand with the Rev. V. A. Jensen officiating. Mrs. Conrad Gaasedelen sang a vocal solo and one vocal selection was sung by the grandchildren. Victor Radtke, Wilhelm Vesledahl, Helmer Mohn, Harold Mosher, Ingebrit Engeseth and Harris Quie were pallbearers. Interment was in the Valley Grove cemetery. Oscar Albert Bonde passed away at the Kenyon Sunset Home on Sunday, Jan. 3, after an extended illness, at the age of 87 years.
The son of Tosten and Ingeborg Hougen Bonde, he was born at Nerstrand, on March 3, 1883. He attended the public school at Nerstrand. June 19, 1919 he was united in marriage to Clara Severson. They resided on the Bonde Homestead until his retirement in 1954, continuing to live in the Nerstrand community until 1965 when he became a resident of the Kenyon Sunset Home where he resided until his death. One granddaughter preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Clara, three sons, Earl and Harold of Nerstrand, Robert of St. Louis Park; two daughters; Alice (Mrs. Herman Stenbakken) of Kenyon, and Helen (Mrs. Richard Lodmill) of Edina, also, twenty-two grandchildren. | BONDE, Oscar Albert (I35365)

Peterson’s wife, Jodi Lynn Peterson, 30, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where she is in critical condition. He and his wife were riding their motorcycle in Wright County when they struck a deer in the road. The accident occurred at about 8:18 pm on September 1st. The couple were thrown from their motorcycle; Rebecca was treated and released from a hospital in Buffalo, Minnesota.
Tony Ellestad, age 48, of Annandale died Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake.
Tony Ellestad was born October 22, 1955 in Caledonia to Sanford and Gertrude (Gossman) Ellestad. He was a 1973 graduate of Stewartville High School. Tony married Rebecca 'Becky' Mace June 18, 1977 in Stewartville. He moved to Maple Lake in 1978 and has lived in Annandale the past 4 years. Tony has been in land surveying since 1975 and for the past 8 years has owned and operated Ellestad Land Services, Buffalo. He was a member of Minnesota Society of Professional Land Surveyors. Tony loved his family, friends, music, and was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed golf, table tennis, woodworking, and motorcycling.
Tony is survived by his wife, Becky of Annandale; son, Luke (Amy) of South Haven; daughters, Emmy and Chelsey of Annandale; mother, Gertrude Ellestad of Harmony; brother, Rick (Kathy) of Bettendorf, IA; sisters, Janice (Paul) Spande of Mabel, and Judy (Hamdy) Sayed of Charlottesville, VA; and grandson, Hunter of South Haven.
