Märta, in a letter to her brother and sister-in-law, noted: “They live in Östersund and work in the bank. Nils’s address is Lottgatan 32, Östersund 3. It will be behind Brunflo road I think he says, and John’s address was in Frösön but no closer. They are sons to Anna and Nils Håkansson from Hallmarby, both married. It was very fun to see someone who has come directly from Sweden.

“Nils is married into the family of Krister Andersson in Imnäs in Orrviken Sunne. Kristina to John Andersson in Imnäs if you remember her Carl. She was sister to Agnes and Iwarsson the vicar.”

His obit noted that he was general supt. at Trane before he retired. He served in Europe in World War I.
