The following is not the couple with Mary Mousseau: In the 1875 Minnesota state census, Francis La Rivier, 42, and his wife Mary La Rivier, 27, live in Eden Prairie Twp, Hennepin County. The children are: Franky Rivier, 14, Sonisie Rivier, 15, Georgie Rivier, 12, Henry Rivier, 6, and Rosa Rivier, 4. This couple was still in Eden Prairie in the 1900 census. A Frank N Carter with the RR SS#701-05-5015 shows up in the SSDI as born 18 May 1906 and died 22 Jan 1997. The residence is shown only as “72.”
His birth certificate only shows his first name as “Babe.” His mother’s maiden name is shown as Carter.
Frank and Myrtle were living with the Hendricksons at 4032 11th Avenue S. at the time that their son was born in October of 1928.
In the 1930 census, he and Myrtle and their son live with Myrtle’s parents at 4032 11th Avenue in south Minneapolis. Frank is a clerk in a railroad office.
In the 1940 census (indexed as Cortis), Frank, Myrtle, and Frank Jr. live at 5808 1st or 2nd Avenue South in Minneapolis in a house they own worth $5000. Frank is an office assistant for a steam railroad. Myrtle had three years of high school. Frank was a high school graduate.
His draft registration in October of 1940 had him as employed by the Mpls, St. Paul, and Sault St. Marie Railway.
In the 1948 Minneapolis city directory, Frank, Myrtle, and Frank Jr. live at 5753 2nd Ave S in Minneapolis. Frank Sr. is a general clerk for the Soo Line. Frank Jr. is a student, probably a college student.
In the early ‘50s, the Carters lived at 5753 2nd Avenue S.
According to the Donna Stephenson family tree, Frank “died of colon cancer as did his son.”

A Funeral Service for Arlene Lorraine Jenson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Monday, December 17, 2018, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, with Pastor Lynne O'Shea officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 16, 2018, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Arlene passed away December 14, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 92. She was born during a blizzard on December 11, 1926, in Wheeler, Wisconsin, the daughter of Martin and Mable Holton Giere. She married Donald Jenson on May 8, 1948, in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Arlene lived in Mountain Home since moving from Naperville, Illinois, in 1982. She was a Charter Member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church and enjoyed being involved in the various church groups. She was a former member of the Northeast Lakeside Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, singing in the choir, and spending time with her family and her dog.
Arlene is survived by her three daughters, Diane (Donald) Riedel of Cadott, WI, Sandra (Randy) DeMatoff of Arvada, CO, and Bonita Ague of Centennial, CO; five grandchildren, Jim Liaromatis, Amy Crawford, Tom Ague, Kristin Zimmerman, and Don Fury, II; ten great-grandchildren, Brianna Liaromatis, Ashley Liaromatis, Colton Crawford, Chase Crawford, Travis Ague, Ryan Ague, Jacob Zimmerman, Lucas Zimmerman, Kyrsten Fury, and Kazen Fury; two sisters, Geraldine Mense of Rice Lake, WI and Marilyn Johnson of Eagle Grove, IA; brother-in-law, Russell Petersen of Fond-du-Lac, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two grandsons, Billy Liaromatis, and David Ague; and eight siblings, Margaret Riedel, Ida Lausted, Stella Hansen, Vernon Giere, Jeanette Johnson, Raymond Giere, Roger Giere, and Audrey Petersen.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. | GIERE, Arlene (I36850)

A funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, in Skyline Funeral Home for William Arlen May, who died Feb. 2 of emphysema at age 78.
William Arlen May was born Dec. 28, 1929, in Portland. He graduated from Tigard High School and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a film processor for Kodak for 35 years. In 1959, he married Donna Lee Sanders; she died in 2007.
