Genevieve A. Henk, age 91, of Waverly, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 at her residence.
She was born June 2, 1913 in St. Paul, the daughter of Joseph C. and Anna Fautch Stotko.
Gen graduated from Montrose High School in 1932.
Genevieve and William C. Henk were joined in holy marriage June 8, 1937 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly. God blessed their marriage with two sons.
Through the years, Gen was formerly employed at the Waverly Post Office, Brinkton Manufacturing, and later, for many years, at Minnegasco. She was a faithful, lifetime member of the Church of St. Mary in Waverly. Gen also belonged to the auxiliary of American Legion Post 315.
She is survived by sons Dr. Edward (Suzanne) Henk of Buffalo, and Randy Henk of Waverly; grandchildren Julia (Joseph) Winkelman, William Henk, and Hillary Henk; great-grandchildren Lauren and Keianna Winkelman; a brother, Vincent Stotko of St. Charles, Mo.; two sisters-in-law, Charlene and Laura Stotko; other relatives, and many friends.
Gen was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Henk, in 1952; her parents, Joseph C. and Anna Stotko; six brothers: Lawrence, George, Edward, Leonard, Robert “Joe,” and Jerome Stotko; and two sisters: Gertrude Sawatzke and Angela Reindl.
A Mass of Christian Burial was Thursday, Feb. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary in Waverly. Father Timothy Cloutier was the celebrant, and special music was provided by Lyne Daniels and Mary Klingelhoets. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Friends called at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo Wednesday, Feb. 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. There was a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Casket bearers were Steve Stotko, Mike Stotko, Joe Stotko, Joe Winkelman, Larry Gunderson, and Bill Henk.

Genevieve B. Parker, age 87 of Faribault, died Wednesday, September 13, 1995 at the District One Hospital, Faribault.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 15, 1995 at 2 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church in Faribault, with the Reverend Richard L. Jorgensen and the Reverend Meredith Bedker Musaus officiating. Interment will be at
Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.
Genevieve B. (Gjevre) Parker, daughter of Ole Gjevre and Emma (Opland) Gjevre, was born in Maynard, Minnesota on April 22, 1908. She married Lloyd Parker on October 10, 1932.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd of Faribault, MN; two daughters, Roma Lee (and Harley) Witte of Richfield, MN and Judy (and Walter) Bremer of San Luis Obispo, CA; two sons, Ronald (and Karen) Parker of Faribault, MN and John (and Teri) Parker of Bloomington, MN; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Bertha Murdock of Klamath Falls, OR, Ruth Gates of Apple Valley, MN, Marna Gjevre of Minneapolis, MN, and Frances Brouillard of Klamath Falls, OR; and one brother, Gladstone Gjevre of Minneapolis, MN.

Married Arthur Nathan Lamphere and died in Kootenai County, Idaho, as Genovieve Mae Bliss, on 6 Sep 2011.
She divorced Lamphere on 24 Jul 1956 in Shoshone County, Idaho, and married Donald L Dunkle in Kootenai County on 20 Dec 1958.
