711 A Charles E Lambert, b. 7 Oct 1925, lived at the same address in Mesa as Pearl E Lambert.

A Charles Lambert, b. 7 Sep 1902, died in May of 1985, last residence Mesa.

He is probably the 37 year-old Charles E Lambert who is married to Helen in the 1940 census and lives in Mounds View, Minnesota. A Helen Lambert died in Otter Tail County on 9 Jul 1952.
LAMBERT, Charles (I14130)

712 A Christian Christiansson, son of Christian Amunssen and Beste Sÿversdatter, and born 30 Apr 1812, was confirmed in Land on 8 Oct 1826. His farm of residence appears to be Nebÿsjo.

The Land, Oppland, parish record seems to show a Christian Christiansen marrying a Karen Olsdatter on 10 Nov 1836 (in Fleebergs?). He was from Norbye and she was from Nordreng. He was 25, she was 24. His father was Kristian Amundsen, hers was Ole Knudsen.

The 1865 census for Land shows a Kristian Kristianssen, Husmd md Jord, on the Skougstad farm in 0536 Søndre Land. His household consists of himself, 54, his wife Karen Olsdatter, 54, their unmarried sons Andreas, 22, Bernt, 20, and Karl, 12, and, supposedly, their (probably one of their son’s) daughter Agnete Kristiansdatter, 3. Everyone had been born in Lands.

Regarding that Agnete, there seem to be no good matches in the birth record. The best:

Agnete, b. 24 May 1862, bapt. 8 Jun, to the married couple Andreas Christiansen and Martea Eriksdatter Røes…

Agnethe, b. 29 Jun 1862, bapt. 27 Jul, to the married couple Christian Christiansen and Helena Simensdatter Lomødalsj…

The first Agnete, called Agnete Ødegaarden, was baptized 30 Sept 1877 in Fluberg.

The latter Agnete was confirmed 7 Oct 1877 in Søndre Land, Hov.
SKOGSTAD, Christian Christiansen (I4189)

713 A Christine Elllingboe married Darrell Garner in Marion County, Oregon, on 22 May 1978.

A Christine Ellingboe married Scott Watson in Clackamas County, Oregon, on 12 April 1980.

Called Christine Ellingboe in her father’s obit.
ELLINGBOE, Christine Ruth (I9187)

714 A collision between a pickup truck and a truck and trailer on Highway 99 on the outskirts of Stockton took the lives of two occupants of the smaller vehicle. The victims were Alfred Flolo, 62, a Stockton contractor, and his employe, Jose Rodriquez, 42, also of Stockton. Flolo, the driver was thrown from the pickup, while Rodriquez was pinned inside the cab. Flolo’s pickup truck crossed the centerline. FLOLO, Alfred (I33561)

715 A confusing obit from the FFDJ:

Mrs. Marie Saxhaug, formerly of Fergus Falls, died Sunday at Grand Rapids following a stroke. Services will be held at Grand Rapids Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. Saxhaug was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lauritzen and grew up in Fergus Falls. She was a sister of Mrs. Samuel P. Adams of Fergus Falls.

Survivors include a son, John L. of Grand Rapids, and a daughter, Catherine Anderson, of Minneapolis. Her husband, John L. Saxhaug, died three years ago.
LAURITZEN, Marie (I13261)

716 A cripple, she was a community-supported pauper at Nordland. NORDLAND, Anne Knutsdotter (I3061)

717 A curious entry in the margin of her confirmation record suggests that she may have emigrated in September of 1915.

As Mrs. Olga LaPage of Mellette, South Dakota, she was granted citizenship in Redfield, South Dakota, on 18 September 1927. According to the 1930 census, she and her daughter Ada had come to the U.S. from Norway in 1919.

She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Melette.

Her Find A Grave entry calls her Olga Elise Joakime Le Page.
KARLSEN, Olga Elise Joakime (I30634)

718 A D.A. Hopwood died in St. Paul in Ramsey County on 4 Dec 1904. That child was three months old and was a male. The child died of “la grippe” and pneumonia. HOPWOOD, D A (I19454)

719 A different Arnold Dalbotten was born 13 Aug 1913 in Goodhue County to a woman whose maiden name was Midge. DALBOTTEN, Arnold J (I25799)

720 A different Clara Emilia Weflen was born 22 Oct 1885 in Kandiyohi County to Ole Weflen and his wife Ragnhild. That child was baptized at West Norway Lake Lutheran on 17 Nov 1885.

She is listed in the 1895 state census as still living with her father, step-mother, and siblings in Renville County.

She is not listed with her father and step-mother in the 1900 census although Annie and Gustav are. Neither she nor her sister Annie were living with her father and step-mother in the 1905 state census.

Her daughter is shown as the adopted daughter of Knute and Annie Odegaard in the 1910 census.
WEFLEN, Clara (I28946)
