Her obit in the 22 Dec 1981 edition of the Humboldt County Republican, as cited in FInd A Grave and with spelling corrected:

Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Carlson, 81, Humboldt, were at 1 p.m. Monday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church with Pastors Paul Otto and Robert Molldum officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery. Lindhart Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Carlson died Dec. 17 at Trinity Regional Hospital, Fort Dodge, where she had been a patient for the past month.

Casket bearers were Dennis and Bruce Carlson, Ronald Wagner, Steven, David and Dan Kiley. Mrs. Norman Moklesud sang special music accompanied by organist Mrs. Russell Sime. Mrs. Eilert Sampson and Mrs. Donovan Click were in charge of Cowers and Eilert Sampson ushered.

She is survived by sons Edward of Fort Dodge and Dean of Rutland; daughters Mrs. Pat Kiley of Dakota City and Mrs. William (Shirley) Stockwell of Tulsa, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and her sister, Mrs. Anna Thoelke of Kennewick, Wash.

Cora Opheim was born March 15, 1900, to Barney and Clara Kinseth Opheim, at Bode, where she was educated and confirmed at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church.

She married Arthur Carlson March 10, 1924 and they farmed in the Humboldt County and Rutland area, until his death in 1968. She had made her home in Humboldt since 1969. She was a member of the Our Saviour's Lutheran congregation in Humboldt.
