Doris Irene Sylvia Holt (nee Weflen), age 91, of Richfield, went home to be with her Lord on April 9, 2016. Doris enjoyed her family, dancing, reading, and sharing humor. Preceded in death by husband of 67 years, Arnold; brothers, Archie and Palmer and sister, Millie. Doris Lerohl, the daughter of Conrad and Freda (Donner) Benson, was born on August 8, 1927 in Lucan, MN.
She grew up in the Lucan, Walnut Grove, and Revere areas attending school in Revere and graduating from the Lamberton High School in 1944. Doris was united in marriage to Harold “Bud” Lerohl on July 7, 1949 in Willmar, MN. After their marriage they lived in Storden, MN.
She remained at their home after Bud passed away in December of 1983. In 2006 Doris moved to the Walnut Grove Assisted Living. Doris entered the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda, MN in December of 2012 and passed away there on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the age of 88.
She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Storden and was a past Sunday School Teacher and Bible School Teacher. Doris also belonged to the Storden VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries and was a Cub Scout den mother. Doris enjoyed bowling, reading, knitting, embroidering, word puzzles, following high school sports, travel, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Doris N. Flom, age 86, of Dennison, died on Sunday afternoon, February 5, 2017 at the Northfield Care Center.
Doris was born on September 28, 1930 at home, in rural Dennison south of Sogn, to Albert and Eva (Urevig) Quam. She attended District 52, a one-room school until the eighth grade and then graduated from Kenyon High School in 1948. Following school Doris worked at The Sogn Store.
On June 21, 1952 she married Lester Flom at the Urland Lutheran Church. For 62 years, Doris and Lester found true partnership in life and farming. Doris will be remembered most for her love of family. She had a passion for many things. Doris loved working in her flower gardens and sharing her plants with others. She enjoyed quilting, collecting and refinishing antiques, and genealogy.
Doris was a life-long active member of Urland Lutheran Church. She was very proud of her Norwegian heritage. Doris enjoyed traveling to Norway, attending local lutefisk church dinners, and visiting Norwegian festivals. She was a master lefse roller.
Doris is survived by her five children: Julie (Gary) Warner, Pam (Steve) Tralle, Kathy (Daryl) Bergs, Eric (Melanie) Flom, and Evan Flom; six grandchildren: Brian (Jill) Warner, Kristina (Ken) Lindahl, Lisa (Paul) Korbel, Kelly (Tyler) Tripp, Shelly (Brandon) Lemons, and Bret (Joanna) Bergs; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; and Wesley Porter. She is also survived by her two sisters: Irene Banks and Elaine Elstad and her twin brother Donald (Lucille) Quam; and many nieces and nephews. Doris Sennora Henke, 94, of Kenyon, died Friday, October 25, 2019 at Kenyon Sunset Home.
She was born on June 28, 1925 in Nerstrand, the daughter of Edwin and Carrie (Halvorson) Evenson. She grew up and attended country school at District 54. She then attended and graduated from Kenyon High School in 1943. On June 8, 1946, she married Elroy Henke at Dennison Lutheran Church. They had two sons, David and Paul. During Elroy’s military service, they traveled and were stationed throughout the United States. In 1956, they returned to Kenyon. In 1975, she attended Ruth School of Beauty in Faribault. She worked and owned Fair Lady Beauty Salon in Faribault from 1977 until her retirement at age 83. Doris enjoyed knitting, cooking and attending community events. She was an active member of First Lutheran Evangelical Church in Kenyon since 1977, the Kenyon Country Club, the VFW Auxiliary and Kenyon Sunset Home Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, David (fiancée Joanne) of Kenyon; grandson, Jason Henke; daughter-in-law, Jill Lubbesmeier of Rochester;
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy who died on October 26, 2003; her son, Paul who died on November 4, 1999; and sister, Carol Duncan.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 10:30 am at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenyon with Pastor Julie Rogness officiating. Clara, Caroline, and Dorothy visited Cora at her Minnehaha Avenue home on July 17, 1944.

Dorothy Marie McKittrick, 94, of Viola passed away at Creamery Creek Assisted Living in Viroqua Friday, July 10, 2020. Dorothy was born in Vernon County to Albert and Bertha (Oren) Ekum on October 30, 1925. She graduated from Readstown High School and Vernon County Normal School. She married Arland McKittrick June 30, 1948. They spent most of their married life farming in Sylvan Township in Richland County. Dorothy had several careers in her life, including teacher, CNA, and librarian. She was very active with her church, Sugar Grove Church of Christ, her community, and her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Ellen (Bob) Miller of Viola; and her son; Tom McKittrick of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Ryan McKittrick, Josh (Elizabeth) Miller, Stephanie (Aaron) Joyce, Todd McKittrick, Kyle (Sara) McKittrick, Will (Katie) Miller, Tim (Nicole) McKittrick, Anna McKittrick, Grace McKittrick, Sam McKittrick (Carolena); and her sister-in-law, June McKittrick. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arland; her daughter, Arlana Merry; her son, Larry; and daughter-in-law, Sara McKittrick; as well as her siblings, Ernest, Selma, Theresa Clements, Archie, Walter, Sally Sherry, Tom; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
A private family service will be held at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua, with burial in the Sugar Grove Cemetery.

Dorothy Ardelle Crawford, 96, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Ramsey Village in Des Moines.
Dorothy was born January 30, 1918 in Albia, Iowa, to Stanley and Ethel (Weeber) Hoyne. She graduated from Iowa Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. Dorothy was head nurse on Younker 4 and for Dr. Beverly Richards and Dr. Shirley Robinson. She was a member of PEO and an active member of West Des Moines Christian Church. She was head of volunteers at Ramsey Village before becoming a resident. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, knitting, scrapbooking, being with her family, especially caring for her grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Bill (Maggie) Crawford of Clive; son-in-law, Jim (Nancy) Schreck of Clive; five grandchildren, Amy Schreck, Erin (Chris) Barfels, Michelle (Paul) Neumann, Jamie (Jen) Schreck and Lindsey (Matt) Motsenbocker and eleven great-grandchildren. Dorothy Austinson (Mrs. L. A.) of Faribault, formerly of Dennison, died Sunday, Jan.11,1981, at the Faribault Manor Nursing Home. The funeral service was to be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church at Faribault. Mrs. Austinson was buried at the Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens at Montevideo. Arrangements were made by Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault. The daughter of John and Grace (Rushford) Bradley, Mrs. Austinson was born in Amiret, Minnesota. She married Ludwig Austinson Aug. 3,1926. He preceded her in death on Sept. 20,1964. Mrs. Austinson taught in rural schools at Dennison, Valley Grove and Northfield, and was Rice County Teacher of the Year in 1947. The couple also operated a grocery store at Dennison.
