4461 Caroline accompanied her father and brother Albert to California in advance of Susan and the rest of the children traveling out there to join them. In the 1900 census, Caroline, Albert and Tom were living in Butte Township, Siskiyou County. Caroline was in school.

Clara, Caroline, and Dorothy visited Cora at her Minnehaha Avenue home on July 17, 1944.

Services held at Richfield Baptist Church, 2:00 PM, on Thursday, February 22, 1945, Rev. Royal Bowser officiating. Funeral arrangements by Joe Billman House of Flowers.

Her obituary said that her residence was 6605 1st Avenue South and that she was 58 years old. She was survived by her husband George, daughter Mrs. Mildred Pratt, sons Chester, Wilbur, and Richard, one sister and two brothers.

According to her death certificate, she died of sudden complications of gall bladder disease and stone which led to “lumbar arrest.” This may mean cardiac arrest occurring during or as a result of spinal anesthesia.

4462 Carolyn Ann (Tootie) Anderson Woodman, age 70, of Fort Dodge, died Saturday, Dec. 25, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge after suffering a long illness.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge.

Carolyn Ann Anderson was born to Gilbert and Viola Anderson of Fort Dodge. Carolyn's education was in Fort Dodge school system. On August 31, 1958, Carolyn married Donald Woodman of Fort Dodge. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. Tootie worked at Globe Union then cleaned houses for several people over the years.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; two daughters, Carolyn Michaels and Marcy Lara, her husband Robert Lara passed away on August 28, 2010; two grandchildren, Aaron Woodman and Megan Woodman; five siblings, Ronald his wife Doris, Gary his wife Betty, Phyllis Faith her husband Merle, Wayne his wife Kay, and Keith his wife Jeannie. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, and a son-in-law.

Tootie was a great wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew her.

4465 Carrie Marcella Luzier of Virginia Beach, Va., died of cancer Feb. 8, 2001. She was79 years old.

She was born Dec. 13, 1921, in Siren.

She was a charter member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church.

Carrie was preceded in death by her mother, Clara; and father, Herbert Cordes.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Chester Luzier; and their son, Gerald Luzier and his wife, Diana; and daughter Patricia Brick and her husband, Hugh. She is also survived by sisters, Katherine Ramsdale and Virginia Ricci.

Carrie had six grandchildren, Jeremy and Amanda Luzier, Mark and James Woodcock, Scott Hunt and Christina Sumner, and many great-grandchildren.

4466 Carrie’s obit said that they were married in 1898 but that can’t be correct because Carrie was 18 and single and living at home with her parents in the 1900 census. 4467 Caryl Ann Bestor-Hanson age 67, of Harmony, Minnesota, died surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Jan 15, 2014, at her home in Harmony. Funeral services will be Monday, January 20 at Greenfield Lutheran Church in Harmony. Interment will follow at St. Matthews Cemetery, Granger.

Caryl Ann was born February 21, 1946 in Granger, Minnesota, the daughter of Verl and Gertrude (Hovey) Bestor. She married Robert Anderson in 1962, he preceded her in death in 1964. She later married Roger Hanson on January 11, 1974. Caryl Ann worked as a Medical Transcriptionist; first in Spring Valley, MN for 8 years, then at the Harmony Community Hospital for 22 years and most recently at Mayo Medical Clinic in Rochester for 13 years. She was a longtime member of Greenfield Lutheran Church and was active in many church activities. Her grandchildren’s activities were a big part of her life, she also enjoyed country music, having coffee and visiting with family and friends.

Caryl Ann is survived by her husband, Roger Hanson of Harmony; 4 children: Kevin Anderson of Granger, James (Lesa) Hellem of Harmony, Jodi (Jerry) Bergey of Lansboro and Tricia (Scott) Heim of St. Charles; 7 grandchildren: Courtney, Josh (Kelsey), Luke, Katrina and Madelyn Bergey, Stacia and Ashlyn Heim; 8 siblings: Wanda House of Spring Valley, Wayne (Donna) Bestor of Houston, Garth Bestor of Harmony, Verlaine Wilson of Cresco, Georgia Hermanson of Harmony, Dallas (Connie) Bestor of Cresco, Cheryl (Tom) Otteson of Decorah, Susan (Gerri) Matson of Jefferson City, MO, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Robert Anderson, and one granddaughter, Erica Heim.
