Theodora Alvina Anderson, 90, of rural Murdock, died Tuesday, December 15, at Golden Living Center in Benson, Minnesota.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 19, at Scandia Lutheran Church in rural Glenwood . Interment will be in the church cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Sunburg Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Theodora was born March 10, 1919 in Kerkhoven Township, Swift County, Minnesota, to Ralph and Emma (Ellingboe) Gronseth. She grew up in Kerkhoven township and attended District 66 School. She married Norine J. Anderson on March 20, 1940 at Spring Creek Lutheran Church. They lived and farmed in rural Murdock. Theodora was a member of Scandia Lutheran Church, where she was active with the Scandia WMF.
She is survived by two daughters: LeVina (and John) Giinther of Minneapolis and Verlaine (and Jon) Opsahl of Bloomington; four sons: Robert Anderson of Benson, Larry Anderson of Murdock, Leland Anderson of Murdock and Arlan Anderson of Murdock; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Therese “Tee” Mercier Morgan, 93, of Hattiesburg, MS, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at her residence in Hattiesburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Jerold Joseph Morgan; one son, Damian Eugene Morgan; son-in-law, Wayne Anderson; her parents, Albert and Ella Mae Mercier; and six siblings.
She is survived by five children, Shirley Morgan Glenn (Bob) of Mobile, Al., Jerold Joseph Morgan, Jr. (Connie) of Hattiesburg, Dr. Mary Morgan Anderson of Hattiesburg, Frank Raymond Morgan (Wendy) of Daphne, AL., and John Patrick “Jack” Morgan (Staci) of Honolulu, HI.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Monsignor Joseph Mercier and Damian Mercier, both of Hattiesburg; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Troy Anderson, Geoff Glenn, Andy Anderson, Jerry Anderson, Casey Mercier, and Andy Mercier.
Therese was a lifelong resident of Hattiesburg and a graduate of Sacred Heart School. Her passions were faith and family. Before her marriage she attended college at Ursuline Academy in New Orleans, LA. Therese owned and operated Loretta’s Gift Shoppe and Ole Mississippi Antiques.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Rosary will be held at 11 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. | MERCIER, Agnes Therese (I2209)
